As Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary focus will be on the development and enhancement of automated test cases using cutting-edge tools such as Cypress and Playwright, leveraging TypeScript for robust and scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Product Owners, and QA Specialists, to identify testing needs, implement strategies, and continuously improve our testing frameworks and processes.
Test Automation Engineer (m/w/d)
Your Role
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites.
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery.
- Debugging and diagnosing issues in collaboration with development teams.
- Providing insights and suggestions to enhance product quality and performance.
- Staying updated on the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices.
Your Profile
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright using TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD-integrated test pipelines.
- You are comfortable working on projects with varying release strategies, including scheduled releases and continuous delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment.
- A passion for quality and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Basic German skills, ideally at the B1 level or higher, to facilitate communication in a (partial) German-speaking work environment.
Nice to have´s
- Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), demonstrating a solid foundation in testing methodologies and practices.
- Experience with advanced testing strategies and technologies, such as Contract Testing, ensuring seamless integration and reliability in microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and strategies.
- A knack for innovation and a drive to explore and adopt new testing tools and techniques.
